The poet Robert Frost was American. His work was first made available in England before being released in America. Frost typically used settings from rural life in New England in the early 20th century to analyze difficult social and philosophical subjects. He is known for his accurate representations of rural life and his command of American common English. Frost is the only poet to have won four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry and was widely honored throughout his lifetime. He developed into one of the few “public literary figures, nearly an aesthetic institution” in America. In 1960, he received the Congressional Gold Medal for his poetry. Frost was appointed Vermont’s poet laureate on July 22, 1961. I hope that these Robert Frost quotes about success will inspire you to work toward your goals.

Note to Self: Believe In Yourself
The first step to living life on your terms is to have confidence in your ability to succeed. Who or what is preventing you from becoming the person you want to be and attaining everything you seek? Why can’t you have it all?
People who have confidence in themselves are more likely to succeed than people who don’t. A champion is already a champion before entering the ring; he doesn’t just say, “I may win,” he says, “I will win, and I will do whatever it takes to be victorious.” You wouldn’t go into a battle expecting to lose, yet most people do.
Spend time, money, and effort on yourself to improve yourself. It begins within; contrary to what many people believe, success does not come from elsewhere. Success is determined by who we are, not by what we obtain.
Why should anyone else believe in you if you don’t? Live your life to a higher standard and believe in your greatness.
